Watertight installation
This horizontal cable seal from Scanstrut is the ideal solution for the watertight cable routing through decks and bulkheads and is perfect for installing antenna and navigation light cables.
A tapered gland forms a watertight seal around the cable, and a closed-cell foam seal between the housing and deck provides a 100% watertight installation.
All fasteners are made of 316 stainless steel to resist corrosion in marine environments, and the housing is made of tough, impact-resistant plastic with rounded edges to prevent snagging.
The unit is supplied with both pre-drilled gaskets (suitable for cables with 6-10 mm diameter) as well as with a Blind seal for self-drilling supplied.
